CHONGQING 2020
At the moment Chongqing is the most rapidly growing city.
The city is changing fast. Every week buildings are demolished
and constructed. This ongoing environmental development
changes the face of the city constantly.
As a graphic designer from The Netherlands I was teaching at
the Modern International Arts and Design Academy in Chongqing.
I did not want to react on those topics myself. As they are native
to Chongqing, the opinions of the next generation graphic
designers in the city itself are more interesting. The future is up
to them, they are part of it. This exhibition gave them the chance
to think openly and to exchange opinions. It creates awareness
about the changing Chongqing.
